The Military Wives Choirs, led by Musical Director Brooke Morgan, gave a wonderful performance at the official launch of the Cards for Good Causes shopping season on Friday 12 October at Holy Trinity church, Sloane Square, London. Singing a range of pieces from their new album, Remember, the choir really set the tone for an exciting and successful season ahead. Representatives from member and guest charities, shop hosts and suppliers, were all on hand to view the 2018 card stock and to help launch the season with a flourish.

Speaking at the event, Jeremy Lune, Chief Executive of Cards for Good Causes, said:

"Cards for Good Causes raised in the region of £6 million last year and has raised around £40 million over the last 10 years. We have a rich heritage of supporting a wide range of charitable causes and as we head in to our 60th year of trading, we look forward to the future of this organisation with renewed enthusiasm and pride. It is great to see so many of the people who make the whole thing work here today. By working together, we are making a real difference to lives and bringing joy to people across the UK and the world with some really wonderful Christmas cards from our partner charities."

Anita Bates, Director of Marketing & Fundraising at Perennial, and a Cards for Good Causes Board member, said:

"We're heading into a really exciting season - the Cards for Good Causes brand is looking fresh, our Christmas gifts, wrapping and decoration ranges have been updated and we all feel there's a real impetus now. Sales of Christmas cards are not only a really important source of income for charities, especially a smaller charity like Perennial, but they also play a crucial role in spreading the word about our services. Every year we receive calls from gardeners and others working in or retired from horticulture who need help, who learned about us from a Christmas card and that for me, is the real reason we're all here."

The Holy Trinity Church Cards for Good Causes shop is now open every day until 18 December. A further 17 pop-up shops are located across Central and Greater London. You can find your nearest here. Alternatively, you can shop the widest online selection of charity Christmas cards right here.

We are selling The Military Wives Choirs CD Remember in our pop-up shops across London and very soon it will be available on our website. All proceeds to the Military Wives Choirs charity, Stronger Together, which works alongside SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity.
