  2. Shop Managers Wanted! Join Santa's little helpers this Christmas

    We're looking for enthusiastic and friendly people to help run our pop-up shops during the Christmas season!

    Our shops are buzzing with Christmas spirit, do-gooding and tills ringing so if you're someone who thrives in a busy, adaptive and social setting this could be a fantastic opportunity for you. All abilities are welcome as everyone has training and lots of support.

    Role: ​Temporary (October - December), Part-time, flexible hours

    Salary: ​£8.91 per hour (Note: Those in London receive London weighting which is an additional £1.31 per hour)

    • Setting up, opening and closing the shop
    • Maximising sales by managing the stock effectively
    • Managing a team of volunteers and the rota

  3. We're Recruiting! Customer Service Advisor

    Cards for Good Causes is a not-for-profit Charity Christmas Card retailer and we work on behalf of over 200 charities selling their cards via our website and pop-up shops around the UK.

    We are currently recruiting for a remote, part-time Customer Service Advisor (Oct-Dec). This would be responding to customer email enquiries on a daily basis (Mon-Fri) and would be fully remote.

    It is a 25 hours per week role, 5 hours per day. These hours could be 9.30-2.30 but we are pretty flexible on what works for you each day.

    Hourly rate: £10 per hour.

    Full remote online training will be given. Customer service experience is preferred but not essential.

    We are currently recruiting for a Charity Retail Regional Coordinator to cover the Dorset/Somerset/Devon area.

  5. Christmas is Coming Early this Year

    Christmas is coming early this year as more people are looking for charity Christmas cards online in August and September than ever before.

    Cards for Good Causes, the Charity Christmas Card Retailer, has seen an increase in traffic to its website in August 2021 with a 20% increase in visitors looking for Charity Christmas Cards. The first signs in September are even stronger with a 28% increase in visitors in just the first week.

    Last year, Cards for Good Causes saw a 300% increase in online sales over the whole year due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the November lockdown in England which saw online sales soar as their 150 pop-up shops in England were forced to close during their peak trading season.

    As a not-for-profit, all proceeds from the sale of cards bought through the Cards for Good Causes website support a number of charities including Cancer Research

    Cards for Good Causes, the charity card and gift retailer, has launched personalised cards on its website to help raise vital funds for charity throughout the year. The personalised cards range has over 2,500 designs and includes cards for every occasion including Birthdays, Weddings, New Home and New Baby. The designs also include cards from leading brands such as Manchester Utd, Minions, Aunty Acid and many more. This new launch increases the product range for Cards for Good Causes extensively and appeals to those customers who want to send a card whilst also giving to charity at the same time.

    Around the globe many countries are celebrating the official Alternative Christmas Day on Sunday 25th July this year. It is an opportunity to see loved ones and have Christmas-themed activities, seasonal music and get in the Christmas spirit that was lacking for so many in December 2020.
