Volunteer today

“Volunteers are key to our organisation, they maximise the amount we return to the charities keeping our running costs to a minimum.”

Jeremy Lune, Chief Executive Cards for Good Causes"

“Working for Cards for Good Causes is a thoroughly enjoyable experience but knowing so many charities benefit from every sale makes it a fantastically positive one too!”

The card shop is such a happy place – chance to meet old friends who volunteer and customers we see only once a year. All the fun of Christmas without the cooking!

General information for Volunteers

A wonderful opportunity…

to join Cards for Good Causes, selling charity Christmas cards in community locations such as churches, schools, libraries and town halls.

To take part in this time-limited opportunity, we’ll need voluntary support to help run the Cards for Good Causes shops around the country.

The minimum commitment is three 3 hour sessions over the trading period of the shop.  We would be grateful though if you could spare more time.

The role will involve

• re-stocking cards
• maintaining stock records
• using the till and accepting payment by cash, cheque and credit card where applicable (training provided).

This could be a great opportunity to get a taster of the retail sector, develop your customer service skills and meet volunteers from other charities; and help over 25 charities to raise much needed funds.
